Here are some NEW pictures of our five cats. They are all girls. Phyllis and I spend a lot of our time just watching them go about their daily activities. We have no favorites, although they certainly do.  Baby loves Phyllis and tolerates Mike, while Alley likes Mike the best.   Missy and Angela love whomever is paying attention to them.
        Alley and Angela are (at least) half sisters from different litters that Phyllis rescued from the streets on the night before Halloween, while the other three came to us from different rescue organizations.  Katie and Missy both have exact mirror image markings on their left and right sides. Baby is a purebred Persian (and she knows it!).
        Katie, our fifth cat, passed recently after having had  surgery for feline breast cancer in July.  Her prognosis was not good, but we had hopes that she would recover and stay with us for a while longer. Sadly, that was not the case.
        It is extremely important to have female cats neutered before they have their first fertility cycle.  Once they have their first cycle their chances of developing breast cancer increase by a huge (?80%?) percentage. If you have a female kitten, speak to your vet about this immediately.
        We have a new cat.  He is an 11 month old boy.   He was wandering around near our store paying no attention to traffic, so Mike picked him up and enlisted him as our store watchcat.
