The word chakra is Sanskrit for wheel or disk and for energetic purposes refers one of seven basic energy centers in the body. Each of these centers correlates to major nerve ganglia branching forth from the spinal column. In addition the chakras also correlate to levels of consciousness, archetypal elements, developmental stages of life, colors, sounds, body functions, and much, much more.

    The chakras are transmitting and receiving centers through which energy can be both sent to and received from other people.  Each chakra is related to a frequency range, a range of colors and specific gemstones.  Our chakra jewelry is intended to help balance the interchanges of energy between the wearer and the environment and so to help maintain the wearer's mental and physical health.
